Junior Sous Chef at Uga Jungle Beach, Trincomalee. Hands-on role responsible for daily operations of the Kitchen, supporting the Chef in Charge.
Responsibilities
- Daily operations in the Kitchen
- Support the Chef in Charge in maintaining the highest quality standards across the Kitchen
- Uphold, enhance, and evolve culinary standards
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury resort or luxury boutique hotel
- Qualification in the fine Culinary Arts from a recognized institute
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
