About the Role

Investment Officer at Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC. Lead the equity portfolio of MBSL (Trading & Investment) business.

Responsibilities

• Handle the equity portfolio of MBSL (Trading & Investment) business
• Conduct the MBSL (Trade Portfolio Investment) operations and maintain the portfolio on a profitable manner
• Conduct equity research, analyze market trends, prepare reports related to Corporate Advisory and Capital Market functions
• Liaise with all matters relating to the equity activities
• Promote business related to Corporate Advisory and Capital Market and achieve the business targets
• Provide management reports as required
• Provide leadership and other related duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Marketing
• Investment Banking or in Banking & Financial Services Industry on a Senior Executive Level
• SR.L.A.D. (B.) examination passed (Charter Membership)
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience as a senior executive in a Senior Manager Level
