QA QC Engineer - Structure

About the Role

Structural QA/QC Engineer for the Colombo Port City mega-development project. Evaluate technical data, manage quality inspections for structural works, and ensure compliance with civil and structural engineering codes on one of South Asia's largest infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical data sheets and ensure material compliance with specifications
• Develop and submit method statements for structural works
• Submit inspection requests and coordinate site inspections
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records and quality documentation
• Monitor adherence to structural codes and approved drawings
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and contractors on quality matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience as a QA/QC Engineer in civil/structural capacity
• Strong knowledge of structural procedures and civil works
• Understanding of local and international structural codes (IS, ACI, BSI)
• EPC project lifecycle familiarity
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
