Farm Unit Leader

About the Role

Lead day-to-day operations of a Prima Group integrated farm unit in Colombo, managing livestock or poultry production to meet the group's food manufacturing supply requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the assigned farm unit (livestock or poultry)
• Supervise farm workers and coordinate daily tasks
• Monitor animal health, production metrics, and feeding schedules
• Maintain farm records and prepare production reports
• Ensure compliance with food safety and biosecurity standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in livestock or poultry farm management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays if required
