Automation Engineer

About the Role

Maintain and optimize PLC, HMI and SCADA automation systems at Avery Dennison's Biyagama manufacturing facility, ensuring uptime and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize automation systems including PLCs, HMIs and SCADA
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and execute preventive maintenance schedules
• Develop PLC logic modifications to improve production processes
• Support safety compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or related field
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with industrial control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
