Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, manage cold chain logistics, and optimise truck routing for Elephant House's ice cream distribution network at the Avissawella manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation and optimise truck routing
Monitor third-party logistics provider performance metrics
Manage cold room operations cost-effectively
Conduct logistics analysis using software tools and Power BI dashboards
Improve truck capacity utilisation and pack fill rates
Implement quality measures to minimise transport damage
Enforce safety guidelines and conduct regular audits

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Logistics Management
Analytical skills
1-2 years practical experience in fleet management
People management experience
