Responsibilities
- Manage assigned kitchen section (hot/cold/pastry)
- Prepare and present dishes to required standards
- Supervise commis chefs in your section
- Maintain proper food storage and hygiene
- Control portion sizes and minimize wastage
- Ensure mise en place is complete before each service
Requirements
- Experience as chef de partie or senior commis
- Culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of relevant kitchen section techniques
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Good knowledge of food safety practices
