About the Role

Manage category sales and margins, implement pricing policies, develop sourcing strategies, and analyse consumer and product trends for Keells supermarkets in Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Manage category sales and ensure margins align with company objectives
• Implement pricing policies consistent with organisational standards
• Complete projects within timeframes while maintaining quality
• Develop sourcing strategies to reduce procurement expenses
• Adapt to market volatility and shifting consumer behaviours
• Analyse data for industry and product trend identification

Requirements

• Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Physical Sciences OR professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/CIM)
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Negotiation expertise
• Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and forecasting
• Advanced MS Office skills
