UI/UX Developer

About the Role

Design and develop user interfaces for DirectFN's capital markets platforms — proficiency in React/Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and UX principles required for this Colombo-based full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end interfaces using React or Vue.js component-based architecture
• Implement responsive designs across multiple screen sizes
• Apply UX principles including user journey maps and wireframes
• Write type-safe, maintainable code for large-scale financial software projects
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product teams on interface design

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Computer Science
• Proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Hands-on experience with React (including Server Components) or Vue.js
• Understanding of user journey maps and wireframes
• Strong design principles and front-end best practices
• Ability to write type-safe, maintainable code for large-scale projects
