About the Role

Support financial operations at Associated Battery Manufacturers in Ratmalana — manage accounting functions, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide financial analysis to support the country's premier battery manufacturer with 60+ years of operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory regulations
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements
• Assist with external audit and regulatory reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records in ERP/accounting systems

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Part qualified or pursuing CA Sri Lanka/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred
• 1-3 years finance or accounting experience, manufacturing industry preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Knowledge of IFRS and Sri Lankan tax regulations
