About the Role

Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations at a luxury all-inclusive resort in Ahungalla, overseeing food preparation, menu development, and kitchen team mentorship.

Responsibilities

Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and workflow management
Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet luxury standards
Develop and refine menus with seasonal ingredients and cost efficiency
Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
Manage mise en place, service prep, and inventory control
Conduct quality control checks for food safety and sanitation compliance
Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

Proven experience as Sous Chef or similar leadership role in professional kitchens
Background in five-star or luxury all-inclusive hotels preferred
Advanced culinary knowledge with international cuisine expertise
Strong multitasking abilities in high-volume environments
Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
