About the Role

Lead centralized financial reporting and control services for LSEG group subsidiaries from the Colombo Business Services team. Drive process improvements, manage balance sheet controls, and support the Finance Centre of Excellence with 5–7 years post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate accounting aligned with global policies
Identify risks and recommend process improvements
Maintain balance sheet controls and support external audit
Lead team onboarding for new scope areas
Design KPIs and track team effectiveness
Develop standardised training materials
Support succession planning initiatives
Collaborate on systems improvements and group projects

Requirements

Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/CA) with 5–7 years post-qualification experience
Big 4 audit firm background preferred
Finance shared-services environment experience advantageous
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, HFM/FCCS, and BlackLine systems
Strong understanding of financial controls implementation
UK business hours availability
