Assistant Manager - Value Assurance

About the Role

Evaluate the strategic and financial soundness of key bank projects at Hatton National Bank. Review business cases for viability, monitor project benefit realisation, maintain value assurance frameworks, and educate business teams on investment evaluation processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure approved business cases exist for all projects exceeding agreed investment thresholds
• Review business cases for completeness, viability, and accuracy
• Prepare stakeholder reports documenting value assurance findings
• Monitor realised benefits against projections during implementation
• Develop and refine business case templates
• Educate business and technology teams on processes
• Review project plans for adequate change management consideration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Project Management, or IT
• Master's degree in related fields preferred
• Minimum 10 years in project management; 3+ years in managerial roles in value assurance or banking
• Strong project planning, critical thinking, budget and quality management skills
