Intern - Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

On-site SQA internship at a fintech company, working alongside developers to test financial software using manual and automated testing tools like JIRA and Cypress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams on requirements and test coverage
• Apply QA methodologies and tools for high-quality releases
• Document and report bugs using issue tracking systems like JIRA
• Assist with functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Gain exposure to test automation tools such as Cypress or Selenium

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Computer Science, IT, or related program
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear communication and documentation skills
• Bonus: experience with test automation tools or scripting languages
