Executive - Merchandiser Development

About the Role

Execute merchandising development activities for Timex Garments' ladies' fashion product lines in Colombo, managing buyer liaison and product development timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development and sampling schedules for assigned buyer accounts
• Coordinate with sourcing, production, and quality teams for on-time delivery
• Develop and maintain Time & Action plans
• Handle buyer communications and approval processes
• Monitor fabric and trim development and bulk production status

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Merchandising, Fashion, Apparel Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years experience in apparel merchandising or product development
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and production processes
• Excellent English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
