About the Role
Entry-level barista role for coffee and hospitality enthusiasts to learn specialty coffee preparation and customer service in a busy cafe.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior baristas with espresso drinks, teas, and beverages
- Learn espresso extraction and milk texturing techniques
- Support food preparation and cafe operations
- Deliver customer service and take orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Handle stock management and opening/closing duties
Requirements
- Strong interest in coffee, food, and hospitality
- Friendly, positive attitude with willingness to learn
- English and Sinhala/Tamil language skills preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
