NVQ IT Teacher

About the Role

Deliver NVQ-aligned IT theory and practical training, create lesson plans, conduct competency assessments, and maintain IT lab equipment in Dambulla.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical training aligned with NVQ competency standards
• Create lesson plans and assessments per TVEC requirements
• Conduct assessments and maintain trainee portfolios
• Support quality assurance processes
• Maintain IT laboratory equipment

Requirements

• NVQ Level 5+ in IT, Computer Hardware, Software Engineering, or related field
• TVEC-recognized diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years teaching or IT industry experience preferred
• Teaching Certificate/Teaching Methodology Certificate advantageous
• Experience in competency-based training (CBT) and NVQ assessment is an advantage
