About the Role

6-month paid ML research internship with a dedicated mentor, own a research project, and ship work into product or evaluation framework.

Responsibilities

Shadow ML engineers and replicate experiments in Month 1
Own a single research project with mentor guidance in Months 2-4
Draft and publish an engineering post under your byline in Month 5
Ship work into product or evaluation framework in Month 6

Requirements

Currently enrolled undergraduate or early graduate in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or related field
Proficiency in Python and at least one ML framework (PyTorch preferred)
Solid foundations in linear algebra, probability, and optimization
Evidence of completing substantive projects
NLP, retrieval, or language model evaluation experience preferred
Sinhala or Tamil reading knowledge preferred
