About the Role
Supervise daily production operations at Dilmah's Gampaha facility, driving efficiency and lean manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for efficiency and quality
- Supervise production staff to meet shift targets
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, TPM)
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with planning teams on production schedules
- Maintain accurate production records
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
- G.C.E. A/L in Maths/Science stream
- Below 30 years of age
- ERP systems knowledge
- Tamil language ability (advantageous)
