About the Role

Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations at RIU's first Asian property, maintain consistent food quality, collaborate on menu development, and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and maintaining consistent quality
• Oversee food preparation and presentation standards
• Collaborate on menu development incorporating seasonal ingredients
• Mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Manage mise en place, inventory, and operational efficiency
• Conduct quality control and food safety compliance checks
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• Proven Sous Chef experience in professional kitchens, preferably five-star or luxury all-inclusive hotels
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Advanced culinary expertise with knowledge of international cuisines
• Excellent multitasking and performance under pressure
• Commitment to luxury hospitality standards
