About the Role

Handle air ticket reservations using GDS systems and manage inbound tour operations for a Sri Lankan travel agency, leveraging expertise in fare calculations, refunds, and tourism management.

Responsibilities

• Handle air ticket reservations using GDS systems (AMADEUS and SABRE)
• Manage inbound tour bookings and operations
• Process ticket fare calculations, refunds, and reissues
• Work independently and manage pressure situations
• Provide excellent customer service to travel clients

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience handling air ticket reservations and inbound tours
• Proficiency in GDS systems like AMADEUS and SABRE
• Very good English proficiency
• Capability to work independently and manage pressure
• Enthusiasm for the travel and tourism sector
• Flexible scheduling and collaborative teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and good computer literacy
• Understanding of ticket fare calculations, refund procedures, and reissue policies
