AI Backend Engineer

About the Role

Architect and maintain scalable AI-powered backend services, microservices, and APIs for healthcare technology applications, including LLM and RAG pipeline integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build microservices and event-driven systems for AI applications
• Integrate Large Language Models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google
• Build RAG pipelines and vector search systems
• Create AI agent workflows and tool integrations
• Optimize inference performance and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Backend proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or equivalent
• Production API design experience
• Database expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
