Mid-level sous chef at an adventure resort in Kitulgala to assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations including eastern and western cuisine, menu planning, and food cost control.
Responsibilities
- Assist Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
- Motivate and lead kitchen team
- Execute menu planning and ensure food quality
- Oversee food cost control and portion management
- Manage cold kitchen and garde manger sections
Requirements
- Cookery diploma or advanced course from SLITHM
- 3-5 years experience in a recognized hotel
- Eastern and western cuisine expertise
- Menu planning and food cost control knowledge
- Retired candidates also considered
