About the Role
Sous Chef role at RIU Hotels' all-inclusive resort in Ahungalla, supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, and overseeing kitchen staff across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper training and discipline
• Maintain food quality and consistency across all outlets
• Enforce HACCP and food safety standards
• Support in menu planning, costing, and food preparation
Requirements:
• Culinary diploma or degree in hotel management
• 4+ years culinary experience including 2+ years as CDP or above
• Experience in a large resort or hotel with multiple F&B outlets
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
