About the Role
Sous Chef role at a lakeside resort in Dambulla, supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, and supervising the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations
• Supervise and train kitchen staff across sections
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
• Enforce hygiene and HACCP standards
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
Requirements:
• Culinary diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years culinary experience with 1+ year at CDP or above
• Resort or hotel kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
