About the Role
Sous Chef role at the prestigious Heritance Ahungalla luxury beach resort, supporting the Executive Chef in managing culinary operations, maintaining five-star food standards, and leading kitchen brigade.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations at Heritance Ahungalla
• Supervise and train the kitchen brigade
• Maintain five-star food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and food safety standards
• Contribute to menu development and special dining events
Requirements:
• Culinary degree or diploma in hotel management
• 4+ years culinary experience with 2+ years as CDP or Sous Chef
• Five-star hotel or luxury resort experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of HACCP and international food safety standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
