Apparel Manager (Production Manager)

About the Role

Oversee all factory operations for a children's clothing manufacturer in Kandy, managing production schedules, quality control standards, workforce supervision, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily manufacturing operations and production schedules
• Implement quality control standards for children's wear
• Manage floor supervisors, tailors, and machine operators
• Control costs and manage raw material inventory
• Resolve production issues and optimise workflows
• Ensure health and safety compliance

Requirements

• 3-5 years production management experience in apparel or garment sector
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and finishing
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Level education minimum
• Proficient Sinhala communication skills
