About the Role
Head the kitchen department at Browns Hospitals Ragama, planning and managing food service operations for hospital patients and staff in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, develop, and implement food service schedules for hospital operations
- Train and manage kitchen personnel
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
- Directly oversee kitchen staff performance
- Assist Head of Facilities with departmental operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience managing kitchen teams in a large-scale institutional or hospital setting preferred
