Deputy General Manager - Logistics

About the Role

Senior executive leadership role at Singer Sri Lanka responsible for strategic oversight and management of the nationwide logistics and distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage island-wide logistics and distribution operations
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee warehouse management and inventory control across the network
• Manage logistics budget and ensure cost efficiency
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
• 10+ years of logistics management experience with 5+ years at senior management level
• Proven track record in retail, FMCG, or consumer goods sector
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics management software
• Excellent English communication skills
