Manager, Technical Sales

About the Role

Coats is seeking a Technical Sales Manager at their Horana, Sri Lanka office to deliver sewing thread technical advisory services, drive sales growth, and support garment manufacturing customers across the country.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-range technical services to premium customers, improving productivity and providing troubleshooting support
• Lead marketing initiatives for profitable sales growth through new product development and competitive positioning
• Provide integrated sewing advisory services, conduct seminars, and demonstrate equipment settings
• Investigate new products and manage technical partnerships
• Design training programs and manage market expansion projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, followed by an MBA
• 8-10 years' experience, preferably in the readymade garments industry
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Persuasion and results-driven orientation
