Senior Merchandiser

About the Role

Results-driven senior merchandiser needed at Sri Lanka's leading menswear brand to independently manage buyer accounts from order confirmation to final shipment, lead a junior team, and handle costing and price negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage buyer accounts from order confirmation to final shipment
• Lead and supervise junior merchandisers
• Develop and oversee Time & Action (T&A) plans for delivery schedules
• Coordinate across sourcing, production, quality, and logistics departments
• Monitor fabric and trim development and bulk production
• Handle costing and price negotiations with suppliers and buyers
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Merchandising, Apparel Management, or Textile Management
• Minimum 3-5 years apparel industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and merchandising tools
• Strong English communication and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of garment production, fabric types, printing, and embroidery processes
