Senior Manager - Acquired Asset Disposal

About the Role

Lead strategy and execution for the disposal of non-performing loan collateral and acquired assets to maximise recovery value.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the bank's portfolio of acquired and non-performing assets
• Develop and execute strategies for timely and value-maximising asset disposal
• Negotiate disposal terms with buyers, property valuers and legal counterparts
• Coordinate with legal and credit teams to ensure compliant recovery processes
• Prepare management reports on acquired asset performance and recovery rates
• Ensure adherence to Central Bank of Sri Lanka guidelines on non-performing asset management

Requirements

• Degree in finance, law or business; professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA) preferred
• 5-8 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in credit recovery or asset management
• Strong knowledge of collateral management, credit enforcement and legal recovery processes
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of assets across multiple locations
