About the Role

Manage import and export shipment coordination for Sri Lanka's largest steel manufacturer, overseeing sea and air freight, customs documentation, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate import and export shipments via sea and air freight
• Plan shipment schedules according to production and company requirements
• Check and verify shipping documents for smooth customs clearance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize the logistics process
• Stay updated on market trends and evolving logistics best practices

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics within a manufacturing industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and customs clearance practices
• Proficiency in MS Office package and ERP software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
