About the Role

Provide legal advisory and compliance support for NSB branch operations in the Northern and Eastern provinces, managing legal documentation and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle legal matters for NSB branches in Northern and Eastern regions
• Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements
• Manage litigation and coordinate with external legal counsel
• Ensure branch compliance with banking laws and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• LLB or Attorney-at-Law qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years of legal experience in a bank or finance institution
• Fluency in Tamil and English required for Northern and Eastern posting
• Knowledge of banking laws and financial regulations in Sri Lanka
