About the Role

Full-time Medical Officer to carry out ward rounds, clerk admissions, maintain patient records, and manage medical and surgical emergencies at Durdans Hospital Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular ward rounds
• Clerk all new admissions within a reasonable period of time
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies independently until senior support arrives
• Educate patients on post-discharge care
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
