Senior Finance Manager / Head of Finance

About the Role

Lead all financial operations, planning, regulatory compliance, and treasury for an investment firm and its portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the firm and portfolio companies
• Provide financial insights to support investment decisions
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan financial regulations and accounting standards (LKAS, SLFRS)
• Manage corporate tax planning and statutory filings
• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Inland Revenue Department and Foreign Exchange Department
• Oversee financial reporting systems and prepare financial statements
• Lead banking and treasury operations
• Supervise payroll and statutory obligations
• Manage financial audits
• Mentor finance team members

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in senior finance roles, preferably in investment firms, private equity, or startups
• Expertise in Sri Lankan tax regulations and accounting standards (LKAS, SLFRS)
• Proficiency with financial software (QuickBooks, ERP systems)
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
• BSc/MBA in Finance or professional certification (CA, CIMA, CFA) preferred
