Pharmacist

About the Role

Hospital pharmacist to manage dispensing, pharmaceutical inventory, and patient medication counselling across Hemas Hospitals' Wattala and Thalawathugoda facilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications based on physician prescriptions
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock control
• Counsel patients and healthcare staff on drug usage and interactions
• Maintain records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical pharmacy initiatives and ward rounds

Requirements

• B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) or equivalent recognized degree
• Registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council or relevant pharmacy authority
• Preference given to candidates with hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong patient communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
