About the Role
Lead all MEP systems design, procurement, and commissioning for a multi-billion-dollar master-planned city development at Port City Colombo.
Responsibilities
- Oversee MEP design review, value engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure MEP designs meet the complex demands of high-rise and supertall structures
- Direct international MEP subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
- Guarantee compliance with international building codes and green certifications
- Conduct site inspections and implement QA/QC protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's/CEng preferred)
- 15-20+ years progressive MEP experience on large-scale projects
- Minimum 5 years handling high-rise buildings (30+ stories)
- Deep knowledge of central cooling plants, high-voltage substations, BMS, and firefighting infrastructure
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit) model review
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
