Senior Merchandiser

About the Role

Manage end-to-end merchandising operations for knitwear products at Elegant Knitting's Biyagama facility, coordinating with buyers and suppliers from development through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete merchandising cycle from concept through to delivery for knitwear product lines
• Coordinate with buyers and suppliers for product development, approvals, and bulk production
• Oversee sample development timelines and follow-up on approvals
• Maintain communication with cross-functional teams including QC, production, and sampling
• Monitor order progress and ensure on-time delivery
• Prepare and manage costing and time-action plans

Requirements

• Proven experience in apparel or knitwear merchandising
• Strong buyer communication and marketing skills
• Excellent English communication proficiency
• Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency
• Knitwear or intimate apparel product knowledge preferred
