About the Role

Write original news articles, conduct interviews and produce investigative and feature content for a leading bilingual digital news platform in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

• Write original investigative articles, feature stories and analytical pieces
• Rewrite articles from other media with an original perspective
• Aggregate popular media items from various platforms
• Conduct interviews for news stories
• Perform field work and investigative journalism
• Digitally manipulate and edit images and graphics

Requirements

• Bilingual writing ability in Sinhala and/or English
• Independent thinking and confident communication
• Computer and internet literacy
• Tech-savvy with ability to handle digital tools
• Basic photography experience
• Long-term interest in journalism and writing
