Manager - Credit Risk

About the Role

Lead credit risk identification, monitoring and compliance covering SME lending, stress-testing frameworks, and Basel III/IV standards at SDB Bank.

Responsibilities

• Support credit risk management functions including identification and monitoring
• Conduct financial analysis and assess borrower creditworthiness
• Develop risk rating systems and stress testing frameworks
• Ensure compliance with CBSL directives and Basel III/IV standards
• Guide and mentor credit officers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 10-12 years in SME lending in banking or financial sector
• Strong knowledge of credit risk principles
• Expertise in financial statement analysis
• Familiarity with CBSL regulations and IFRS 9
• Understanding of banking products: loans, trade finance, guarantees
