Intern - DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Onsite DevOps internship building GitLab CI/CD pipelines and managing Azure infrastructure at an IT services firm in Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Support application deployments and infrastructure management on Microsoft Azure
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting tools
• Collaborate with the team to improve software delivery workflows
• Support system monitoring and server maintenance activities

Requirements

• Currently a student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with version control using Git
• Scripting language proficiency (Bash and/or PowerShell)
• Strong analytical skills and self-learning capabilities
