About the Role

IT Security Engineer role designing cybersecurity controls and monitoring incidents at Sri Lanka's largest private bank.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT security frameworks and controls for the bank
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and cyber threats in real time
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and periodic security audits
• Enforce security policies and regulatory compliance standards
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams on secure system architecture

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in IT/cybersecurity roles, preferably in the banking sector
• Knowledge of security frameworks, SIEM tools, and threat intelligence
• Understanding of network security principles and secure architecture
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous
