MEP Engineer

About the Role

MEP engineer designing and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installation for building construction projects in Battaramulla.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee MEP systems installation for building construction projects
• Coordinate MEP scope between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sub-trades on site
• Supervise MEP installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings and technical submittals
• Ensure all MEP works comply with local building codes and project specifications

Requirements

• BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
• 3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering within the building construction industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and low-voltage electrical systems
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with multi-disciplinary project teams
