Mechanical Engineer - Procurement & Projects

About the Role

Mechanical engineer managing procurement of industrial components and leading engineering project delivery for government and private sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical and industrial components for clients
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with international and local suppliers
• Lead engineering project assignments from specification through to delivery
• Provide technical solutions and pre-sales support to clients in industrial and infrastructure sectors
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, and project status reports

Requirements

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial procurement, or technical sales
• Strong knowledge of industrial components (valves, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, etc.)
• Excellent technical communication and commercial negotiation skills
• Experience in vendor management and project coordination
