Senior Quantity Surveyor – MVAC

About the Role

Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in MVAC systems at Hayleys Fentons Colombo, developing HVAC designs, performing heat load calculations, and preparing cost estimates for commercial and high-rise projects. 8+ years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MVAC system designs including chilled water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, and exhaust systems
• Perform heat load calculations using HAP, Carrier E20, or equivalent software
• Prepare ducting layouts, piping schematics, equipment schedules, and system selection calculations
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
• Identify value engineering opportunities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 8 years' experience in MVAC design, estimation, and quantity surveying
• Proven experience with commercial, industrial, and high-rise building projects
• Strong proficiency in HAP, Carrier E20, AutoCAD, and HVAC design software
