About the Role

Maintenance and facilities mechanical engineer responsible for plant machinery upkeep, breakdown restoration, automation initiatives, and leading the technical team at a large-scale porcelain manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance programmes
Carry out emergency repairs and restoration during equipment breakdowns
Introduce automation solutions to production lines
Relocate and install plant and equipment as required
Design and estimate capital works projects
Coordinate facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, and civil works
Motivate and lead the technical staff ensuring efficiency and productivity

Requirements

BSc Engineering specialised in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D
Over 3 years of experience in maintenance work in a large-scale manufacturing entity
Experience in automation projects (advantageous)
