Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, clinical examinations, and order and interpret investigations
• Assist in surgical procedures and participate in ward rounds
• Educate patients on discharge care and follow-up treatment
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment documentation
• Manage equipment and clinical unit monitors
• Follow consultant instructions promptly and participate in clinical audits

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Valid medical registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council
• Demonstrated competency in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment
• Surgical experience or willingness to assist in procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
• Prior tertiary or acute care hospital experience preferred
