University Lecturer

About the Role

Deliver UK-accredited BSc Hons degree modules in software engineering, AI, cybersecurity, data science, and related technology fields at a leading private institute in Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials for UK-accredited BSc Hons degree programs
• Teach modules including Software Architecture & Design, IT Project Management, Robotics, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Secure Software Engineering
• Mentor students and guide them toward academic and professional success
• Conduct academic research and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, AI, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Project Management
• Relevant industry and/or university teaching experience
• Strong communication, presentation, and student engagement skills
• Previous experience teaching at degree level is a distinct advantage
