Quantity Surveyor (Civil / Mechanical)

About the Role

Handle cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract management for civil and mechanical engineering projects at the Biyagama facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for civil and mechanical works
• Monitor project costs and control expenditure against budget
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier payments
• Prepare and administer contracts and variation orders
• Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs
• Liaise with project managers and engineering teams on cost matters

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of QS experience in construction projects
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost estimation
• Strong knowledge of civil and mechanical construction works
• Good communication and analytical skills
